A “Rally for the Cure” (of Breast Cancer) event is coming Saturday, Sept. 26, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., to Jacobs Park in Yucca Valley. The event is sponsored by the Morongo Basin Tennis Association in the format of a Mixed Doubles Rotation Tournament on the lower tennis courts at Jacobs Park. There is a $20.00 entry fee which includes a magazine subscription to either, Self, bon appetite, Architectural Digest, or GQ, a goodie bag and lots of fun. Register on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Jacobs Park, or call 760-861-0501, email [email protected]. There will be a Grand Prize for the winner and prizes for the first two runners-up.
