PLANS MOVING FORWARD FOR YUCCA VALLEY ROTARY FIREWORKS SHOW

Plans are moving forward for this year’s annual Rotary Club of Yucca Valley 4th of July Independence Day Fireworks and Community Fair. “We have had a great response from our community for sponsorships and private donations so we are moving forward with our plans” said club fundraising chair, Cynthia Kraemer. The show moved venues last year, after years of having the show from the Yucca Valley High School, and its new home is at the new Brehm Youth Park, located at Palm and Little League Drive, north of Highway 62. This new venue offers a larger field area, play areas for kids, and a fenced in area perfect for family seating. Entertainment is being lined up and groups interested may contact John Babrowski at 760-567-2006 if interested. Vendors may contact Jill Akalski at 760-766-5656 for sign up information. Food vendors are also encouraged to apply. The Rotary club will be selling fun glow toys and there will food, snacks, and drinks available. Bring your blankets and chairs and have a great evening on the grass field! Donations of any size and sponsorships ($250 and above) are still needed and can be sent to Rotary Foundation of Yucca Valley at PO Box 200, Yucca Valley, CA 92286.
