Desert Industrial Kitsch, the home of Tony and Bobette Milici, is set in the Rimrock area of Pioneertown, which is a new district for the annual Parade of Homes put on by Reach Out Morongo Basin. This eco-friendly and off-the-grid home is constructed of steel and structurally insulated panels, and features a beautiful hardwood stair case leading to the loft living area. An artist studio with stained glass, paintings and ceramic sculptures created by the owners as well as a cozy office and bedroom are part of this distinctive home. Reach Out Morongo Basin’s 11th Parade of Homes tour is set for noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, February 15.
