On October 19 at noon, the Morongo Basin Historical Society will be hosting their exclusive Old Woman Springs Ranch field trip. This is a rare opportunity to explore the historic private property, view a true oasis in the desert, and learn about the early ranching history in the 1880s. If you’re not up for the tour, you’re welcome to bring a book and read by the pond. Tours will start at 1 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. Bring your lunch and folding chairs.
