The Morongo Unified School District will be making four administrative changes at the principal level for the coming school year. According to retiring Superintendent of Schools Jim Majchrzak, Twentynine Palms High School Principal Amy Woods will become the Director of Secondary Curriculum for the District. Replacing her at TPHS will be Justin Monocal, currently the principal at Twentynine Palms Junior High School. The new principal of TPJHS will be James Powell, moving cross-basin from La Contenta Middle School. Finally, John Lowe will become the principal at Landers Elementary School.
