NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER TO BE RECOGNIZED TOMORROW

The Twentynine Palms City Council presented a proclamation at the last city council meeting, acknowledging “The National Day of Prayer.” The Twentynine Palms Ministerial Association has offered an invitation for all to attend. Reporter Chanda-Lyn Fraschetti tells us about the upcoming event…
The Morongo community is invited to share in “The National Day of Prayer,” on Thursday, May 2. It’s a celebration that began in 1952 as a time for people to gather in prayer for our nation. Three assemblies will be offered. The first will take place at the flagpole in Veterans Park, located at 6078 Adobe Road, in Joshua Tree, at 7 a.m. and again at noon. An evening prayer, scheduled for 6 p.m., will take place at “Gospel Fellowship Christian Center,” located at 5898 Adobe Road, in Joshua Tree.
And with this story, we welcome Chanda-Lyn Fraschetti to the Z107.7 family.
