A motorcycle rider was injured in a crash in Twentynine Palms Tuesday evening. According to a Sheriff’s report, Darriel Lewis, 51, was riding his 2009 Honda motorcycle eastbound in the fast lane of Highway 62 about 7:40 p.m. As he approached the intersection with Monte Vista Drive, Madison Fulton, who was driving westbound on the highway, failed to yield to Lewis as she turned south on to Monte Vista. Lewis suffered a possible broken left leg in the crash and was flown by Mercy Air to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs.
