The 18U volleyball team from the Morongo Volleyball Club traveled to Cypress College for their last Mandatory tournament Sunday. They were the number 1 seed in their pool and finished in second place. Coach Matt Jennings said leading the team was Ashley Priest with 15 kills, two blocks and four ace serves. Sarah Jennings added eight kills, and Jenna Conrad had seven kills and two blocks. Senior Melissa Smith had 2 blocks and 5 ace serves. Setter Chelsea Mondary had 29 assists for the day. The team put out a great effort and will await their seeding for the Regional Tournament May 25-26, which will end their club season.
