A Morongo Valley man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Palm Springs last week. According to the Riverside County Coroner’s office, Jacob Lutzker, 27, was riding his 2002 Honda motorcycle south on Indian Canyon Road about 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, when he was struck by a 2005 Ford Ranger that was turning left onto Rosa Parks Road. Lutzker, who was on his way to work at the Ace Hotel, was taken to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs but he was pronounced dead at 3:01 p.m. Southbound Indian Canyon Road was closed overnight while Palm Springs Police investigated the crash.
