The Morongo Valley Community Services District is offering free shuttle rides to Palm Springs on Saturday, February 21, so that Morongo Basin residents can help support the district’s fund-raising campaign for a new fire engine. Firehouse Subs on Ramon Road in Palm Springs will donate a portion of its proceeds from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. to the district’s campaign for a new fire engine. The shuttle van will leave the community center on the hour to drive people to the sub shop. For more information, call 760-363-6454.
