The Morongo Valley Community Services District holds its regular third Tuesday meeting at 7 p.m. tonight when directors are expected to re-designate the ad hoc committee dedicated to funding the fire department there to a standing committee, that on the advice of legal counsel. Later tonight, that committee will report out on possible language of a new fire tax ballot measure being looked at for the June election. Those items and others are on the agenda tonight at the Covington Park Community Building multi-purpose room.
