MORONGO BASIN MAC MEETS TONIGHT AT JOSHUA TREE COMMUNITY CENTER

Solar fields, retail stores, housing developments—it’s all about land use. And so is the special report and the Morongo Basin Municipal Advisory Council meeting tonight, says Dan Stork…

The featured Special Report at the February 10 meeting of the Morongo Basin MAC has the two top aides to Third District Supervisor James Ramos—Chief of Staff Phil Paule and Deputy Chief Chris Carillo—on hand to address concerns and answer questions about recent projects that pass through the hands of the Land Use Services Department. In addition to regular reports from the Sheriff’s Department, California Highway Patrol, and the San Bernardino County Fire Department, there will also be a subcommittee report on county roads and bike lanes. The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in the Joshua Tree Community Center, 6171 Sunburst.
