The Land Use Study Committee of the Morongo Basin Municipal Advisory Council will meet in open session on Thursday, April 9. The discussion topics are a tabled resolution on the Alta Mira residential project in Joshua Tree; and the West Mojave Plan recently released by the Bureau of Land Management. The meeting starts at 2 p.m. at the Joshua Tree Community Center, 6151 Sunburst.
