The Morongo Basin Democratic Club will hold its regular monthly meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11, followed by a regional meeting of the California Democratic Party at 11 a.m. Among the items on the agendas are possible labor action against a large Morongo Basin employer, the state party platform, and Medi-Cal funding accountability. The meetings will be preceded by a 9 a.m. breakfast at Bruce’s Coyote Kitchen on the campus of Copper Mountain College. Saturday’s meeting is open to all registered Democrats and invited guests. The next meeting of the Morongo Basin Democratic club will be September 12.
