Have you ever wondered about a meteor hitting Earth’s surface? Author Dr. Stephenie Slahor will present “Meteors” as part of the Morongo Basin Historical Society’s second Wednesday Lecture Series. Slahor will discuss the origins of meteors, famous meteors, meteor showers and more. A book singing will take place afterwards. The presentation will be held at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum in Yucca Valley at 5:30 p.m. With a $5 donation for admission.
