Are you tough enough to compete against United States Marines in a cross-fit challenge? The Marines are looking for the toughest athletes in the desert to compete in the Fourth Annual Desert Crossfit Challenge in PalmDesert on December 14, starting at 8 a.m. The event will consist of two tournaments: a crossfit competition, and an “Are You Marine Corps Tough?” challenge. The entry fee is one new, unwrapped toy, valued between $15 and $20, which will be donated to Toys for Tots. For more information, call 760-779-8880.
