MARINE CORPS CONDUCTING ACTIVE SHOOTER EXCERCISES

The Marine Corps will be conducting an active-shooter exercise on board the Combat Center starting today (Tuesday) through Friday. The drill is a regional anti-terrorism force protection exercise which will deploy first responders, a crisis action team, an emergency operation center, and a communication control center. The location of the simulated incident will not be known until the exercise begins. The exercise will give participants an opportunity to practice and improve the emergency actions in an active-shooter scenario.
