MARGARET KENNY OF TWENTYNINE PALMS HAS PASSED AWAY

Margaret Kenney, a 75-year resident of Twentynine Palms, died October 3. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Kenney; her sons, Eugene Kenney and John “Tim” Kenny; her brothers, Jack, Reilly, Mike Flynn and Betty Wilson. She is survived by her granddaughters Eilene Waters of Kingman, Arizona, Megan Johnson of Portland, Oregon, and many nieces and nephews. She and her husband owned Kenney’s Drug Store in Twentynine Palms for 40 years. A service will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church on October 18 with a 11:30 rosary and a noon funeral mass. Interment will be in Twentynine Palms Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blessed Sacrament Church or Twentynine Palms Chamber of Commerce.
