MAN FACING TRIAL FOR BURGLARY ARRESTED FOR BURGLARY

A Twentynine Palms man who was in court just over a week ago for attempted burglary was arrested Sunday evening, after a woman found him inside her Joshua Tree home. According to a Sheriff’s report, a resident in the 6500 block of Outpost Road came home Sunday evening about 6:20 and found Kent Browner, 23, in her bedroom. The woman immediately left her house and called 911. When deputies arrived, Browner had fled, but he was later located. Browner was arrested for investigation of unlawful entry and booked at the Morongo Basin Jail. Kent Browner had been arrested August 15 for attempting to steal a bicycle from a garage in the 61600 block of Capilla Drive in Joshua Tree. He was in court August 23 for a preliminary hearing for that case.
