Two major statewide water issues are on tap at tonight’s 6:30 meeting of the Morongo Basin Municipal Advisory Council. First up is Mojave Water Agency General Manager Kirby Brill who will discuss California’s water supply and mandatory water restrictions. Then attendees will hear from the State Water Resources Control Board on the state’s new lower threshold for Chromium VI in our drinking water. The presentations come between public safety reports and community reports from MAC delegates. It all happens at the Joshua Tree Community Center behind the Sportsman’s Club on Sunburst Avenue in Joshua Tree.
