Morongo Valley Wednesday’s Lunch in the Park have been on hiatus due to a seeding project at Covington Park, but Wednesday, Lunch in the Park returns May 27 with artist Dan Redmon demonstrating wood carving on a venerable stump from the park. Redmon has received some notoriety for his carving of a large snake on a downed log at Covington Park. Visitors have flocked to it. Also at Wednesday’s talk will be discussion on the possibility of an “Art in the Park” event. CSD General Manager Donna Munoz, says the CSD is looking to local artists for input.
