The Morongo Basin Democratic Club will elect a new club president and executive board at this Saturday’s meeting, followed by an address from Greg Rodriguez, candidate for the 42nd Assembly seat in 2016. Also on Saturday, members will review a draft of by-law changes and organize for the Grubstake Day Parade later this month. Saturday’s meeting is open to all registered Democrats and invited guests. Attendees will gather at 9 a.m. for fellowship and a $10 breakfast at Bruce’s Coyote Kitchen on the Copper Mountain College campus.
