As part of this year’s Pioneer Day celebration in Twentynine Palms, there will be a Lego design challenge, at 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 19, in Luckie Park. There will be three age categories: 12 and under, 13-17, and 18 and over. Entries will be judged on creative application of bricks, imaginative design and concept, and difficulty of execution. There may be one submission per individual or group, with each entry required to submit a complete application. All creations must use your own Lego, Duplo, or Megablocks bricks—and nothing else—other than a cardboard or other solid surface on which to display your creation.
