KIDS CAN LEARN GARDENING AT THE HI-DESERT NATURE MUSEUM

The Hi-Desert Nature Museum presents its next exciting edition of Kid EdVentures, exploring the wonderful world of gardening. Future gardeners will be introduced to the very basics of vegetable and herb gardening, including composting and container gardens. Children will create a take-home container garden to begin their own green space. Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate, comfortable clothing that may get dirty during the EdVenture. Glass mason jars or pre-used flower pots are also in demand at the Museum, so donations of these items are encouraged.Participants must be at least six years old.  Call the Hi Desert Nature Museum at (760) 369-7212 by Thursday, March 19 to reserve a spot. There is no cost for this educational experience. However, this class will be limited to fifteen participants.
