The Joshua Tree Veterans of Foreign Wars post on Veterans Way in Joshua Tree was broken into Saturday night. Employees said sometime between 6 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday, thieves cut the lock off the gate and stole bags of aluminum cans, folding chairs with the VFW logo stamped on them, and a propane barbecue grill. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
