A Joshua Tree man was arrested early Tuesday morning, after his girlfriend said he hit her. According to a Sheriff’s report, Cody Tinsley, 24, was arguing with his girlfriend in the 61400 block of Verbena shortly after 5 a.m. when he hit her in the face with the back of his right hand. The woman sustained swelling and bruising to the right side of her face. Cody Tinsley was arrested for investigation of felony spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
