JOSHUA BASIN WATER MEETS TONIGHT

Tonight’s 7 p.m. meeting of the Joshua Basin Water District will open with a likely dry presentation of the District’s 2014/2015 financial audit. On the other side of that, there will be an update on efforts by NextEra Energy to secure water in their quest to convert the old Joshua Tree airport site into an industrial scale solar plant, election of a board chair and vice president, and a report on a plan to rehab the District’s largest holding well. Those items and others will precede committee, staff and director’s reports. It all takes place at District offices on Chollita Road in Joshua Tree.
