HITTING HUSBAND OVER HEAD WITH BOTTLE RESULTS IN ARREST FOR TWENTYNINE PALMS WOMAN

A Twentynine Palms woman was arrested Monday morning, after her husband said she tried to break a bottle over his head. According to a Sheriff’s report, Myrna Salas, 26, of the 6500 block of Morongo Road, was arguing with her husband about 6:30 Monday morning when her husband said she took a glass bottle and hit him over the head with it. The bottle didn’t break, and it just gave him a lump on his head. After an investigation, Myrna Salas was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, and released on $50,000 bond.
