The Twentynine Palms High School boy’s tennis team will host San Bernardino in a CIF-Division 5 wild card playoff round today at 3:00.
The Twentynine Palms High School boys varsity tennis team traveled to the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens for the DeAnza League individual finals Thursday and Friday. The Wildcats finished in second place, with an overall record of 10-5, and a league record of 7-3 in the DeAnza League, qualifying them to participate in CIF action. Highlights of the tournament were Jarod Burks placing third in singles action, qualifying him as an alternate in CIF, and Marquis Tarver taking first place in singles action in the alternate tournament.
In high school sports tomorrow, the Yucca Valley High School Trojan baseball and softball teams will host Desert Mirage High School at home. Both games begin at 3:30.
Also tomorrow, the Twentynine Palms High School Wildcat baseball and softball teams will host Rancho Mirage High School at home. Both games start at 3:30.
