HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS SCORES AND SCHEDULES

Yesterday, the Twentynine Palms High School swim team traveled to Desert Hot Springs High School for their second league meet of the season. The boys’ team won with a score of 110 to 54. This makes the boys team 1-1 in league and 3-2 overall. The Wildcat girls remained undefeated with a score of 137 to 30, leaving them 2-0 in league and 5-0 overall. CIF times for the meet were Gabby Crank in the 100-yard backstroke, Lexi Wade with a lowered 100-yard backstroke time, and another lower time for the 400-yard freestyle relay team of Gabby Crank, Kyra Minatrea, Lindsey Scamman, and Darrian Rieg. The Wildcat swim team will take on the Yucca Valley Trojans next week at home and the meet will begin at 3:15 PM.

Coming up in high school sports tomorrow, the Yucca Valley and Twentynine Palms High School baseball and softball teams will play each other tomorrow at Luckie Park in Twentynine Palms. Both games start at 3:30.

Also tomorrow, the Joshua Springs Lightning baseball team will host Lucerne Valley at home. First pitch is at 3:15.
