The Twentynine Palms junior varsity and varsity boys soccer team took on the Banning Broncos at home on Friday night. Coach Nathan Niles said the varsity boys played a hard-fought game and lost 2-0. Goalie KJ Morton made over 15 saves, with several at close range. The final score ended at 2-0 with a goal in the last minute by Banning to put the game away.
The JV boys fought hard against a tough opponent and had several key absences. After the dust settled, the score ended 7-0 for Banning.
