The Hot Spot Internet Cafés in Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, and Twentynine Palms have closed down and removed most of its equipment. This follows reports that the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department closed down four similar operations in Hesperia on Tuesday, as well as other locations in San Bernardino County that might be running illegal gambling operations. A spokesperson at the local Sheriff’s station told Z107.7 News that they did not raid the local locations, but the owner of these cafes also owns the ones that were raided in Hesperia.
