HAVOC LEADS TO A WOMAN’S ARREST IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

A Twentynine Palms woman was arrested early Wednesday morning, accused of beating up a man and wreaking havoc on his vehicle. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday by a man in the 74200 block of Pinon Drive in Twentynine Palms, who said that Shaunte Washington, 33, had hit him during an argument over money. During an investigation, the deputy determined that Washington had slashed the tires and cracked the windshield of the man’s vehicle. In addition, she is accused of hitting the man with a stick, causing abrasions to his back and neck. Shaunte Washington was arrested for felony spouse abuse, booked at the West Valley Detention Center, with her bail set at $50,000.
