The Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary at the Hi-Desert Water District. Sometime between 5:30 Wednesday night and 6:45 Thursday morning, someone cut the locks at the yard on Palm Avenue and Pima Trail in Yucca Valley and stole fuel out of tractors parked in the yard. The water district estimates that between 150 and 200 gallons of diesel fuel were stolen out of the vehicles. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
