Morongo Valley seniors are invited to a free holiday luncheon Tuesday, December 16, at Covington Park in the Senior Nutrition Room. The luncheon will be from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Morongo Basin Transit will be providing bus service from Morongo Mobile Manor, Roadrunner and Valley View Mobile Home Parks. Morongo Valley Community Services District General Manager Donna Munoz said she hopes this free holiday luncheon will restart the senior lunch program in Morongo Valley, and it’s an opportunity for seniors to give input on future events.
