FREE ENTERTAINMENT SATURDAY FOR PIONEER DAYS IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

Three local bands will provide live musical entertainment during the Pioneer Days festivities all afternoon on Saturday, October 18. Performing from noon to three p.m. is the Whiskey Blues Band. Donny Nelson, Claude Markham, John Burdick, Robert Smith, and Leigh-Ann Sullivan will play classic rock, southern rock, and country. From 3:30 to 5:30 will be Desert Sol, made up of John Skaggs, Patrick Kercheval, Steve Caron, Kimo Brownmiller, Ryan Terleski, Larry Gutierez, Kerry Rose, Dennis McDale, Horace Miller, Malik Burson, and Liko Tuli. They play soul, funk, rhythm and blues, as well as some pop and light rock. Closing out the evening is the Marine Sandpiper, Joel Daniel, who plays classic rock, punk rock, modern pop, and even jazz, all on his bagpipes. The entertainment takes place on the Z107.7 stage in Luckie Park.
