Tortoise Rock Casino’s free concert series will begin Friday, March 6, and continue through October. Scheduled so far are the Just Dave Band on March 6; The Hush Band featuring Eddie Estudillo on March 13; Southern Caliber Band on March 21; a special two-night gig from Checker’d Past on Friday, March 27, and Saturday, March 28. On April 3 Brian Lynn and the Misfit Cowboys will return to the casino. All concerts start at 8 p.m. and are performed on the outdoor stage on the east side of the casino. Tortoise Rock Casino is located at the corner of Adobe Road and Baseline Road in Twentynine Palms. Reporting for Z107.7, this is managing editor Tami Roleff.
