FOOD FOR LIFE SERVING TOMORROW AND THANKSGIVING

Food For life of Twentynine Palms will be serving two free meals to those in need in the next week. The United Methodist Church of Twentynine Palms will serve tomorrow from 3 to 5 at the Little Church of the Desert Community Hall in Twentynine Palms. Then on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, The Betty Garret Memorial Thanksgiving meal will be served from 1 to 4, also at the Little Church of the Desert Community Hall. Volunteers are still needed for cooking, setting up, serving, and cleaning up for the Thanksgiving meal. If you are interested in helping, contact Teresa Brown at 562-324-9099. Drivers are also needed for delivering meals to shut-ins. All volunteers are asked to wear white shirts and black pants.
