FAMILY FUN AND PUBLIC INPUT AT PARADISE PARK SATURDAY

This Saturday, February 7, the Town of Yucca Valley Recreation Department will host a family fun day at the Paradise Park playground located on Barron Drive in Yucca Valley. The event will feature crafts, a bounce house for kids, music and refreshments. The focus of the event will be to solicit input from residents on upcoming improvements to the Paradise Park facility. Through state grant funding, the Town of Yucca Valley has been allocated $168,700 for the improvement of Paradise Park, which could be used for a variety of upgrades such as basketball courts, shade shelters and walking trails. Town staff will be on hand to present information on proposed designs and to solicit feedback from neighborhood residents on desired amenities. Participants will be invited to complete a short survey to measure interest in a variety of park improvement projects. The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 7.
