EQUESTRIAN ACCIDENT KILLS YUCCA VALLEY VICAR

A tragedy for a beloved member of the Morongo Basin Clergy. Vicar Jane Lieberg Crase of St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church in Yucca Valley suffered fatal injuries in an equestrian accident Sunday. Friends tell Z107.7 News Crase was riding one of her horses at her home in the Yucca Mesa area when she was thrown and sustained a neck injury and internal bleeding. She was awake and talking, albeit confused, when paramedics arrived about 2:30 p.m. Due to a delay in a medevac helicopter, she was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where she died, surrounded by a few church friends. Jane Crase was 70 years old. Services will be announced soon.
