What do you do with those televisions, computers and monitors, fax machines and printers, VCRs and DVD players, and other electronic items you don’t need or want anymore? You can’t throw them in the trash to end up in our landfills as these items contain components that are hazardous. The Joshua Tree Chamber of Commerce and Joshua Basin Water District are holding a free electronic waste recycling event Saturday, September 7, from 10 to 2. Hard drive destruction and LEED documentation are available by calling 310-734-6700. The e-waste recycling will be held at the Joshua Tree Chamber of Commerce, 6448 Halle Road.
