A Joshua Tree man was arrested Friday, accused of spouse abuse. According to a Sheriff’s report Tyrone Lopez, 38, had fought with a woman on Sunday, March 1. The woman received injuries to her back that needed stitches. Tyrone Lopez was arrested for investigation of felony spouse abuse Friday morning when he reported to his probation officer in Joshua Tree. He was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000.
