DESERT CHIC WINE AND CHEESE SOCIAL

Tickets are still available for tonight’s Second Annual Desert Chic Wine and Cheese Social. Sponsored by the Twentynine Palms Historical Society, the event takes place in one of the city’s most historic homes, Broadview Hacienda, 73452 Sunnyslope Drive. During the wine and cheese social, you can experience the beauty of this historic Twentynine Palms home while you enjoy the camaraderie of old and new friends, and perhaps even learn a little bit about the pairing of wines and cheeses. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be served. Music will be provided by the Voices of 29 Palms. There will also be a silent auction. The event is from 4:30 to 7:30; tickets are $25 for historical society members, $30 for non-members, and are available at the door and at the Old Schoolhouse Museum, the Chamber of Commerce, Cowboy Attic, and Bowden Frame Shop, all in Twentynine Palms. Attire is anything from Desert Casual to the Nines (2 – 9’s, get it?) You are encouraged to come in denim and cotton, sequins and satin, Hawaiian attire, costume of choice or uniform of the day. In other words, come as you are or how you wish to be.
