Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting in Landers Sunday afternoon. About 5:45, residents in the 59200 block of Rocky Acres Road were watching television in a bedroom when they heard gun shots and the bedroom window shattered. The family immediately dropped to the floor and called 911. Deputies found a spent shot gun shell at the intersection of Rocky Acres and Osgood Avenue. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
