Be prepared for delays again today on the Morongo Grade between 9:00 and 3:00. Southern California Edison will be replacing an electrical pole along Highway 62 on the Morongo Grade. The pole replacement will require that traffic be stopped between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., for up to 30 minutes, today, Tuesday, May 21, and tomorrow, Wednesday May 22. The pole replacement is expected to increase the reliability of power for Twentynine Palms and unincorporated areas of the county.
