The STEM Scholarships for local high school seniors are now available. These scholarships are intended to encourage students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math. Thousands of dollars are available for students interested in these fields of study. A few eligibility requirements include that the students plan to attend Copper Mountain College for their first two years, have two letters of recommendation, have a minimum GPA of 3.5, and a one-page essay describing goals and education plans.
