COPPER MOUNTAIN COLLEGE NARROWS PRESIDENT CANDIDATES TO FOUR

The Copper Mountain College Board of Trustees has narrowed the pool of candidates for president/ superintendent to four finalists and now turns to the community for input. Plan to attend one of four free community forums to meet the finalists and ask questions tomorrow and Thursday at 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. in the Bell Center Community Room on the CMC campus. The finalists are Dr. May Chen, Vice President for Student Services at Berkeley City College; Jeff Cummings, presently the Interim Superintendent/President for CMC; Stephen Eaton Vice President of Academic Affairs for Barstow Community College; and Dr. David Smith, Vice President of Instruction and Student Affairs at Colorado Northwestern Community College. Trustees aim to announce their pick at the regular trustee meeting May 14. The projected start date is July 1. For more information, contact the District’s Human Resources Office at 760-366-5267.
