CONSTRUCTION ON YUCCA VALLEY SENIOR HOUSING TO AFFECT TRAFFIC

Street improvements, including storm drains and other utility work for the Senior Housing Project are scheduled to begin Monday December 9. The first phase of work will include the installation of flood control facilities on Dumosa Avenue, north of Antelope Trail. This work will take about 60 days to complete, pending weather conditions and/or equipment failure. Dumosa Avenue, north of Antelope Trail to the north Community Center parking lot, will be closed during construction. Access to the Community Center Office, Public Safety Office, north parking lot and the Hi-Desert Nature Museum will be available through the west parking lot from Antelope Trail. Access to Town Hall and the Library will not be affected during this phase.
