CONGRESSMAN COOK TO HONOR OUTSTANDING WOMEN

Representative Paul Cook of Yucca Valley has announced he is accepting nominations to honor women from his Congressional district. Cook is asking residents to nominate deserving women who have given back to their community. Cook said, “There are many accomplished women in this district who don’t get the recognition they deserve. This event is an opportunity to recognize women throughout the district who have made significant contributions to their communities … and I hope this will become an annual event.” Nominations will be accepted until July 19 and can be submitted through his website at http://cook.house.gov/.
