The Copper Mountain College Foundation’s Festival of Wreaths has become a local holiday tradition and an excellent way to kick off the season. This year’s Festival of Wreaths is Sunday, November 24 in the Bell Center Community Room. It begins with a wine and cheese reception at 2 p.m. followed by a “Live Auction.” Wreaths and custom centerpieces will be auctioned to raise funds for the College. Many of these elaborately decorated wreaths and centerpieces have gifts or valuable gift certificates in them. Preview the pieces at cmccd.edu and during Sunday’s reception. Tickets are $5 on sale here at Z107.7 Radio in Joshua Tree, at Libby’s Realty in Twentynine Palms, at the Twentynine Palms Chamber of Commerce, Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Copper Mountain College Foundation Office, also at the door.
